The first month of the Herd Update Campaign ended with more than 79 thousand livestock farms updating their registration with the Paraná Agricultural Defense Agency (Adapar).

Out of a total of over 184 thousand livestock farms in the state, the campaign ends the month of May with 43,4% of properties regularized. Producers have until June 30 to update their status with Adapar.

The data for each region is organized according to the 23 areas covered by Adapar's Regional Offices. The Toledo region stood out, completing more than 66% of the updates, with 7.482 registered properties. Next comes the Ivaiporã region, with 2.695 farms – 49% of the total, and Cianorte, with 2.070 updated properties, also with a value close to 49%.

With the first month of the campaign coming to an end, producers are warned not to leave updating their herds with Adapar until the last minute. Updating is mandatory and ensures the regularity of livestock activities in the state.

Failure to comply with this obligation prevents the issuance of the Animal Transit Guide (GTA), an essential document for the movement of animals between properties and for slaughter at slaughterhouses. As of June 30, producers who fail to update their herds will be subject to penalties provided for in the legislation, including fines.

How to do
Producers can update through the Paraná Agro app, Adapar website or in person at one of the Adapar Local Units, Rural Unions or Service Office in your municipality (city halls).

Access to the system is also available directly through this LINK. To provide proof, the producer must have a registered CPF. In cases where it is necessary to adjust the initial registration (correction of email or other information), the contact telephone number is (41) 3200-5007.
