Mayor Edson Palotta Neto (PP) personally opened the Santa Fé city hall this Monday, the 6th, the first working day of 2025 and the first day of his new administration.
After the symbolic opening, he welcomed the employees of the City Hall and people from the community, and spoke about what can be expected from the new year and the administration that is beginning.
Palotta explained that the year only began on the 6th because the previous administration had granted a 15-day recess to municipal employees and he, as soon as he was sworn in, asked the population for two more days “to put the house in order”.
The mayor of Santa Fe's first day on the job was quite busy. Right after opening the house and the work, he participated in a meeting with the team of secretaries and directors to begin planning the work to be developed by the new administration in the first 100 days.
“With focus, dedication and hard work, we are ready to transform challenges into achievements and make a difference in everyone’s lives,” said Palotta, who is returning to the position of mayor of Santa Fe after eight years.
